Start Small. Think Big.

Because the future of the entire Monadnock Region depends on the success of our youngest citizens.

“Learn to Grow” in The Keene Sentinel

The Keene Sentinel has partnered with Impact Monadnock to feature a monthly column about early childhood development! “The Hub,” a new, magazine-style publication of The Keene Sentinel, has a section on Children that serves as a community resource on the care and raising of kids in the region. As part of this, Impact Monadnock is contributing a monthly article to the “Learn to Grow” column.

These articles are written by Becky Karush, a local volunteer who runs BeckyK Creative Marketing, specializing in copywriting for business and nonprofits to achieve social change. Click here to check out Becky’s great work in the “Learn to Grow” column.

Volunteer to make our region a better place

We are pleased to share the following Letter to the Editor, published by the Keene Sentinel on November 1st, about the importance of volunteerism in our region. Without volunteers, the work of Impact Monadnock & Monadnock United Way would not be possible!

This letter was authored by Liz LaRose, MUW President; Kathy Baird, Program Director of Monadnock RSVP Volunteer Center; and Jay Kahn, State Senator, District 10.

Impact Monadnock Celebration on November 16th

Whether you were a part of the early formation of Impact Monadnock back in 2015 or whether you’re still actively involved in the work today, you have contributed to the initiative’s early success… and we can’t thank you enough!

Please come out for a fun evening where we plan to recognize Impact Monadnock’s volunteers and staff (past and present), celebrate our accomplishments, and look toward the future of this work as the signature impact initiative of Monadnock United Way.

We have reserved the upper level of Margarita’s for this special event. Complimentary appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available.

Please RSVP to Kate Cote at Monadnock United Way by emailing or calling 603-352-4209 by November 13th.
