Applications open for Success by Six Grants

The Success by Six Committee of the Keene and Elm City Rotary Clubs is offering mini-grants to organizations with programs that work to help young children start school ready to learn. The Success by Six Committee supports the annual publication of the Family Resource Guide, which can be found online here.

Grants are limited to programs within the Rotary Clubs’ service area, which includes: Alstead, Chesterfield, Fitzwilliam, Gilsum, Harrisville, Hinsdale, Keene, Marlborough, Marlow, Nelson, Richmond, Roxbury, Stoddard, Sullivan, Surry, Swanzey, Troy, Walpole, Westmoreland and Winchester.

If you or your organization are interested in applying for a grant, please send a letter with details of your request for a specific project or need to:

“Lead the Change! Be an Advocate.” Advocacy experts from New Futures Kids Count and NH Children’s Trust will lead hands-on training based on real world scenarios. Attendees will learn how to develop leadership and civic engagement skills. Guest speakers will include: NH Senators Jay Kahn & Ruth Ward, VT Senate Majority Leader & Keene Y member Becca Balint, & Jennifer Carroll of the Historical Society of Cheshire County. Announcing New Program Director: Jill Morgan!

We are so pleased to announce that Jill Morgan, the new Program Director for Impact Monadnock, will be joining Monadnock United Way on September 27, 2017!

Jill comes to us with a wealth of experience, including:

  • Eight years of community impact leadership at United Way of Tucson & Southern Arizona
  • Expertise in early childhood education, K-12 education, and youth development
  • Over a decade of experience in successfully securing and managing grant funding for programs
  • A proven track record of effectively leading, innovating and problem-solving with vision and systems perspective

As Program Director, Jill will be leading Impact Monadnock in mobilizing the community to improve outcomes for young children and families in the Monadnock Region. We are eager to introduce Jill to the parents, caretakers, educators, early childhood professionals and advocates who make the work of Impact Monadnock possible.
